Every load varies, so what follows is not a contents list. It is what buyers of this class of load tend to check, sort and plan for.
A truckload is a logistics commitment before it is an inventory one. You need somewhere to receive it, a way to get the pallets off the trailer, and the labour to break it down on the day it arrives. Work out where it is going before you order, because a full trailer waiting on a decision is expensive for everyone.
Seasonal items need a decision
Mixed loads often contain seasonal goods that are out of season on arrival. Either hold them for the right months and accept the storage, or clear them at a discount and keep the space. Drifting between the two is what fills a unit.
Plan for thirds
A workable assumption is that roughly a third of a general load sells quickly, a third sells slowly, and the remainder is clearance or scrap. Pricing the whole load against the fast third is the most common way to lose money on it.
Do not cherry pick before you price
It is tempting to value a load on the best few items visible in a photograph. That is not what you are buying. Price the load as a whole, because the spread is exactly why it costs what it does.
