Buying a load is the easy half. Deciding where it goes before it arrives is what separates a business from a garage full of boxes.
Bin stores
Everything at one price, dropping through the week. Ideal for high-volume, low-ticket general merchandise where sorting individual items would cost more than the items are worth.
Market stalls and flea markets
Low overhead, immediate cash, and you learn what sells in your area faster than any spreadsheet will teach you. Good for clothing, household and toys.
Online marketplaces
The best prices for individually identifiable goods, and the most labor. Photographing, listing, packing and handling returns is real work. Reserve it for items worth the time, generally electronics, tools and branded apparel.
Bulk resale to other resellers
The fastest way to clear what you do not want. You will not make much, but it turns dead stock into working capital and space.
Match the channel to the load before you buy
A truckload of low-ticket general merchandise is wrong for someone selling one item at a time online, and a pallet of high-value electronics is wasted at a one-price bin store. Decide the channel first, then buy the load that fits it.

How much do pallets sell for once you break them down
This is the number that decides whether a purchase worked, and it is not the same as the total of your listing prices. Take what you actually realised, after fees and after the stock that never moved, and divide it by what the load cost you landed.
Most resellers find roughly a third of a mixed load sells well, a third sells slowly at a lower price, and the rest clears in bulk or is written off. Price your buying against that shape rather than against the best items in the box.
