A single pallet is the sensible size to start with. It can be taken at a kerbside or driveway delivery with a liftgate, it does not need a loading dock, and it is small enough that one person can work through it without hiring help.
Sort before you photograph
The single biggest time saving in apparel is sorting first and shooting second. Group by size, then by condition, then photograph in batches. Handling each garment once instead of three times is where the hours go.
Presentation adds real margin
Steaming, folding and a clean background lift the price of a garment more than the description does. It is unglamorous work and it is where a meaningful part of apparel margin is actually made.
Incomplete size runs are normal
You will not receive an even spread of sizes. The middle sizes usually move first and the extremes sit longest. Price with that in mind and the slow sizes stop feeling like a loss.
